Workshop Objectives
Review of the state-of-the-art of additive manufacturing (3D printing) for civil infrastructure design and construction; Examination of future prospects of 3D printing for civil infrastructure design and construction; Sharing of perspectives on 3D printing for civil infrastructure design and construction from federal agencies; Identification of gaps and challenges facing 3D printing for civil infrastructure design and construction; and Formulation of recommendations for research initiatives.
