From the website: How has an understanding of nature resulted in innovation in Art, Design and Architecture? Biomimicry is about learning from nature, and using that knowledge to create new perspectives and solutions. Speakers from a wide range of disciplines will discuss their work and then exchange ideas about the benefits and value of working at this intersection. Please join us for a panel presentation and discussion with Neri Oxman, Founder & Director, Mediated Matter Group, MIT Media Lab; Jane Winchell, Director of the Art & Nature Center, Peabody Essex Museum;  Sam Bachelor, designLAB Architects, designing the Living Building for the Hitchcock Center.
