Beyond 2016: MIT’s Frontiers of the Future
LINK

When MIT moved from Boston to Cambridge in 1916, it built a new campus designed to foster collaboration across disparate disciplines. Today, as the Institute celebrates the centennial of that historic move, more than a dozen faculty from across disciplines will give short, exciting talks on their ground-breaking research—tied together by an immersive, multimedia campus tour by foot, drone, and skateboard. In one action-packed event, you’ll hear from MIT professors working at the forefront of nature-inspired design, infectious disease transmission, the future of cities, global economic growth, and more.

Advance registration is encouraged and will be available until 11:59 pm on Thursday, April 7. After the deadline, you will have the option of signing up onsite on April 12. Questions? Please contact MIT Conference Services. The symposium is open to the public with a registration fee of $20. There is no fee for MIT faculty, staff, and students.
